Spiced Banana Bread with Chocolate Chunks | Blogmas Day 19

I'm back with yet another recipe *party popper emoji*. Banana bread is probably my favourite thing to bake and I thought that this time I would add some spices to it to give it that festive feel! I can assure you that if you bake this your taste buds will explode and your kitchen will smell like heaven. I genuinely sat in my kitchen for 45 minutes whilst it baked just so I could get multiple whiffs of the yummy goodness!

Gingerbread Spiced Cupcakes | Blogmas Day 12

I think it's safe to say that I love baking, especially at this time of year. One of the main reasons why I love baking so much is because of the fact that I get to scrap the remaining cake mixture out the bowl at the end (I cannot be the only one who does this? Sometimes I find it tastes better than the cakes themselves, ha!)

The Best Christmas Playlist | Blogmas Day 10

'The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.'

If there's one thing I love more than Christmas movies (you can see my Top 5 here), it's Christmas songs. I play them anywhere and everywhere I go, constantly have a song stuck in my head and occasionally (almost always), annoy the hell out of the person I'm with that day by singing it none stop. I know, I have a problem but it's fine. It's December, I'm allowed.

#LeedsXmasMeet | Blogmas Day 9

So on Saturday, I had the privilege of attending the beautiful Rhianna's blogger event  #LeedsXmasMeet (which I'm sure you have all heard about because I, along with many other bloggers and Rhianna herself had not stopped going on about it for quite a while!) I had been looking forward to this event ever since I got the email about it a fair few months back and Saturday was finally the day and I was so unbelievably excited.

The Perfect Hot Chocolate | Blogmas Day 2

I am LOVING doing blogmas already and we are only 2 days in. This is my first christmas with my blog so I wanted to go all out at my favourite time of year. I have already put up my christmas decorations and have been blasting christmas music, watching christmas films every evening and wearing my christmas jumpers for about 2 weeks now, so I think it's safe to say that I am very much in the Christmas spirit.

November Favourites

Is November really over already? It's December tomorrow and I can't really get to grips with that at the moment, this year has gone way too fast. I say that every year but honestly the years seem to get quicker and quicker as I get older. That being said, I am SO excited for December this year as it's the first year of having my blog AND I'm doing blogmas! *party popper noises*

My View on Social Media

Thought I would jump on the band wagon seeing as everyone else has and talk about the fairly recent topic of a young girl called Essena O'Neill who has caused total mayhem when she announced that she was 'quitting social media'. (Ok, maybe its not so recent now and I am just very late to join the party, oops!)

An Interview with Kiera Weathers

Today I have a very special post as I have been joined by the lovely Kiera Weathers who I'm sure all of you know of, but in case you don't, Kiera was on this years X Factor and amazingly made it to the second week the live shows! Being from St. Helens also, (ah, my home!)  I could not pass down the opportunity to interview this beautiful local lady with huge talent!

The God of All Hangover Cures

Just as a mini side note before I start this post, yes, I have put my Christmas decorations up early (I have an excuse however!) As I'm a uni student studying away from home, I will be going back home for a couple of weeks so I will technically only have them up for just over a month, which is more than acceptable, I think! Plus, I love Christmas so why the hell not?!

A Little Taste of Heaven: Butterfly Cupcake Recipe

Baking is one of my favourite hobbies. I usually watch countless amounts of baking videos on youtube or find myself engrossed in recipe books quite a lot of the time and then cannot resist trying out all the mouthwatering recipes I come across! Whenever I find myself stressed out or needing to unwind and relax, I bake! It's become an addiction (that I 100% don't feel guilty about!) Cupcakes and cookies are probably my speciality (I say that as if I'm a professional, but lets get this straight, I'm not!)
Some of the quickest and easiest cupcakes I love to bake are the traditional and well-loved butterfly cupcakes! They are so incredibly simple to make, but taste AMAZING! So I thought I would share with you lovely people, how to make these tempting little treats!

A Little Skincare Secret

Hello lovelies!

As a lot of you know, I struggle from really dry skin around my nose and t-zone areas, so much so that almost every foundation ends up looking flaky after application, how annoying! Recently the skincare routine I have been going by has been helping this but it's still quite a visible problem! Therefore I have been on the hunt for something a little bit different than your average moisturiser and that's how I found this beauty of a product - COCONUT OIL.

Reasons Why You May Not Be Seeing The Results You Want

Hello!

So, something I know that I used to struggle with and what I see many others struggling with at the moment is not 'seeing results'. This can be so frustrating as there's nothing worse than putting time and effort into something and just not seeing or feeling the changes. Exercising, eating right and getting yourself motivated to lead that healthy lifestyle can be difficult enough for some and so when you stop seeing results it gives you, it can become even more like a chore!

However, after doing a lot of thinking, I have put together a few reasons why this may be happening and how to avoid it. I'm not saying my opinions are 100% correct and will definitely benefit everyone but it's certainly helped me a lot so hopefully you will start to see a noticeable change too!

Healthy Homemade Tomato Soup

Hello!
Recently I have been loving making meals fresh and from scratch and experimenting with different ingredients and that's when I came across this deliciously healthy tomato soup. It is so quick and easy to make and tastes absolutely wonderful. The use of cashews in this recipe gives the soup a lovely creamy consistency. It's low on calories and carbohydrates and is an excellent source of protein and iron.

Sweat in Style; Mitchum Review

Hello beautiful people!
So, one thing I'm sure we all hate is sweating! (what a lovely opening to the blog post Krystal, well done) It's gross but it's true, it happens to all of us and we cant stop it, we just have to learn how to control it so that we don't end of smelling like something just died. (again, what a lovely, lovely, way to open the blog post)
I have been on the hunt for a new deodorant for a while now and recently the lovely people at Mitchum got in contact with me and asked if I wanted to review their products and so of course, I said yes! (who wouldnt?)

Skincare Routine - Summer 2015

Hello! So due to the fact that I have quite heavily updated my skincare routine in the past few weeks, I thought I would share it with you. I have had problems with my skin since the start of my teens and have been trying to find a solution to them, but it's difficult and I still haven't found the right one! However, this new skincare routine is helping my skin a much more significant amount than before.

Healthy Breakfast Smoothie

There is simply nothing better than having a fresh fruit smoothie in a morning to fully wake you up and give you all the nutrients and energy needed to start the day! If you struggle to get fruit into your diet then this is a quick and tasty way to do so. I like to have my smoothies in a morning because of how little time it takes to make and they are a perfect to-go breakfast if you don't have much time before you have to head out or get on with your daily routine.

My Top 2 Foundations for Dry Skin

For many, many, many years, I have struggled with dry skin! What a nightmare. I'm sure if you are a dry skin sufferer also, you will feel my pain when I say that finding the right make up is EXTREMELY hard.

My dry skin is usually more noticeable on and around my nose, and my T-zone. Even with the right moisturiser and a good and healthy skincare routine, it just won't seem to go away! (although saying that it has settled down a little since I updated my skincare routine a few months ago - there will be a blog post about this coming soon so keep your eyes peeled)
